Gauri Khan Faces ED Heat in Real Estate Scam!

Mumbai. The Enforcement...Anurag Tiwari

Mumbai. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a notice to Gauri Khan, prominent Bollywood film producer and wife of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as part of an investigation into a Lucknow-based real estate company accused of embezzling Rs 30 crore.

Gauri Khan, the brand ambassador of Tulsiani Group, is under scrutiny for her association with the company, alleged to have deceived investors and banks, according to sources. ED officials are set to delve into the details of financial transactions related to Gauri's role as the group's brand ambassador.

The controversy unfolds with a complaint filed by Mumbai resident Kirit Jaswant Shah, who invested Rs 85 lakh in a flat within the Tulsiani Group's Sushant Golf City project in Lucknow back in 2015. Shockingly, Shah never received possession of the flat, and his funds remained unrecovered. Taking matters into his own hands, Shah lodged a complaint against Tulsiani Group directors Anil Kumar Tulsiani, Mahesh Tulsiani, and the celebrity brand ambassador, Gauri Khan.

In March 2023, Shah escalated the matter by filing an FIR, revealing, "I was promised possession of the flat in 2016 when I purchased it for Rs 86 lakh. Regrettably, the agreement for my booked flat was transferred to someone else without my knowledge."

As the investigation unfolds, Bollywood's connection to the real estate scandal raises eyebrows, leaving fans and the industry eagerly awaiting further developments.
