Inauguration of a 5-day training program on the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants for farmers in Maharashtra

The Five-Day Training Program on Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Cultivation for Maharashtra Farmers was inaugurated today in Lucknow. The program is a collaboration between CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow, and Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), in association with Agriculture Commissionerate, Maharashtra.
The program is part of the CSIR-Aroma Mission-III and aims to provide knowledge to farmers on the production, primary processing, and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants. A total of six training programs are planned, targeting around 300 farmers in the state.
The second program was inaugurated on Tuesday, at CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. It is a five-day training session designed to equip farmers with the necessary skills and insights for cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants.
