In a significant milestone, the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya marks the beginning of a new era in India. Capturing the historical journey leading up to this moment, "The Battle of Ayodhya" documentary series was launched today.

The documentary delves into the 500-year history of the Babri Masjid and Ram Janmabhoomi, presenting facts and arguments without bias. It encompasses all perspectives, ensuring a commitment to truth and accuracy.

Addressing the Ayodhya dispute comprehensively, the documentary carefully avoids any hint of discrimination in its historical narrative. Bridging generations, it acquaints today's youth with the history of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and rekindles memories for the older generation during the Ram Mandir movement.




The series stands out for its fair presentation of various perspectives. It includes insights from figures such as Ravi Shankar Prasad, former Union Law and Justice Minister; Vinay Katiyar, Bajrang Dal founder and former MP; Rahul Srivastava, journalist and commentator; Ranjana Agnihotri, lawyer representing All India Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Purnudhar Samiti; Brajesh Shukla, senior journalist; K.K. Muhammad, archaeologist and former regional director of ASI; BR Mani, former ADG of ASI and excavation head at that time; Iqbal Ansari, son of main plaintiff Hashim Ansari; Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ram temple, Ayodhya; Mahant Dinendra Das, Nirmohi Akhara head; IB Singh, lawyer, the then DM (Ayodhya), and various other government officials. They have shared their recollections and perspectives on the Ram Mandir movement, legal cases, and construction.

In the realm of filmmaking, Kushal Srivastava takes the reins as the director of "The Battle of Ayodhya," an insightful documentary. Bringing his wealth of experience as a documentary filmmaker to the forefront, Srivastava is no stranger to crafting compelling narratives.

Steering the project's production is Sarit Agarwal, a successful entrepreneur deeply immersed in championing Sanatan Dharma. As the documentary unfolds, Agarwal's influence in promoting ancient Indian values becomes evident.

Adding a significant dimension to the documentary is Shikha Raju Srivastava, the co-producer and wife of the late and renowned comedian Raju Srivastava. Beyond the realm of humor, Raju Srivastava's legacy continues through his spouse's involvement in social activism, tirelessly advocating for secularism and tolerance.

The creative direction is skillfully handled by Antara Srivastava, the daughter of the late Raju Srivastava. Despite her youth, Antara proves herself as a talented director, injecting a fresh perspective into the narrative.

Rounding out the team is Rahul Kapoor, serving as the executive producer, ensuring the seamless execution of this compelling documentary series. Together, this dedicated ensemble brings forth "The Battle of Ayodhya," promising a thought-provoking exploration of its subject matter.

Kushal Srivastava, a former air warrior, transitioned into film production after his service in the Air Force. His debut film, "Vodka Diaries," marked a successful beginning, and his short films garnered acclaim.

His documentary, "The Battle of Ayodhya," stands as a significant historical account. Moreover, his short films, "The Job" and "Love Birds," earned nominations at Filmfare Awards, underscoring his unwavering commitment to his craft.

In 2022, Srivastava was honored with the UP Ratan Samman, presented by Union Minister Smriti Irani. This accolade serves as a testament to his exceptional work and enduring impact on the cinematic landscape.
