The ongoing dispute surrounding the Gyanvapi mosque escalates as Swami Jeetendranand Saraswati, the National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Samiti, addresses the allegations made by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB).
Expressing concerns over the swift decision of the Varanasi court on the Gyanvapi mosque, the AIMPLB contends that the process lacked thorough cross-examination, causing emotional distress within the Muslim community.
A meeting of Akhil Bhartiya Sant Samiti convened in Kashi, with notable figures such as Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand, Jagadguru Anantacharya, Dr. Ram Kamal Das, and Sant Samiti spokesperson Balak Das, along with 300 other saints in attendance. Swami Jeetendranand urged Muslims to avoid intimidating the court, emphasizing India's adherence to the Constitution rather than religious laws like Sharia.
Swami Jeetendranand highlighted that the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple followed legal procedures, not appeasement. He expressed confidence that the courts would favor Hindu claims regarding Krishna Janmabhoomi and Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi. The Swami hinted at the perceived division at Ram Janmabhoomi resulting from threats, pointing towards the AIMPLB.
In a cautionary note, Swami Jeetendranand warned the AIMPLB against intimidating Muslims in the ongoing dispute.
